Comment dit-on en francais "Beam me up, Scottie" ?

Come on, Che, will you please get your comments to open in another window so that your readers may look at your post while thinking of a comment. Miss Rainbow could do with the same feature. (Blogger settings.)

"Rayonnez-moi vers le haut, Scottie" according to Babelfish.

Your wish is my command, Cream, however it doesn't seem to be working for some reason.

László Bíró, September 29, 1899 – November 24, 1985, inventor of the ballpoint pen.

Is that Pierluigi Collina? :-)

Yes it is working. I've changed mine too, so that everyone can continue to admire my wall wot I built myself, with no help from ANYONE. (Pointed look in Che's direction).

Baron Bic also had a throwaway ballpoint named after him. I don't know which one came first. You can keep your Mont Blancs, nothing beats a Bic Cristal. Blue, pref.

It's not Pierluigi Collina, but having GIS'ed him, he's a surefire candidate for my next trick with a bic.

"In 1950 Marcel Bich bought from Bíro the patent for the pen, which soon became the main product of his Bic company."

So now you know how Bich could afford that mansion of his,
half-way down the Champs-Elysees.

And anyway - everyone knows that the Cristal is shite compared to the Classic Black Bic retractable - one of the classic designs of the 20th century, and still the best pen ever made.

(Cristals dry up, and have less shelf-life, than Retractables. Also Retractables have unctious super-black ink. Cristals have pissy blue-ish "black" ink.)

I'm an expert, don't argue with me.
