Not at all !

I did watch Dallas, Savannah.

Never could understand their habit of walking into a room, pouring a stiff scotch, saying something bitchy, and then leaving the room...WITHOUT TOUCHING THEIR SCOTCH !
Musta been christmas everyday for the cleaning staff.

Also watched Miami Vice - that was dire.

Oh and that thing with the computer car.

And the thing with the computer helicopter.

And the thing about vietnam vets running around in a cheap van solving crime with guns...

But best of all was..

THE DUKES OF HAZZARD !

Come to think of it, I did watch a lot of US stuff in the eighties...

Was it bell bottoms then? And waists?

No, Pat.
That stuff was so passé in 1983.

It was big hair and big shoulders. And everything was shiny and expensive-looking.

Looking poor was so not cool anymore.

They even had a television channel that did nothing but music videos - can you imagine that ?
I often wonder what happened to MTV.
