Beautiful woman.
Oil Pastels, difficult to work with, but well worth the effort.
The pastels, not the woman. Heh.
I think she used to sing with Portishead or summat - anyway, disnae matter, she is gorgeous.

Really like this - great sense of texture and light :)
C'est surprenant de réalisme !! Le grain me surprend !
Ça m'épate !Ça m'épate !
Merci Kim, merci Crabbags, ca est sympa.
I always appreciate feedback.
The shading of the hair itself is masterful..
The whole picture.. magnifique!
Not just a pretty face are you?
Didnae know you spoke French, Jimmy, but on the other hand, 'am no rilly surprised.
Merçi, l'ami.
With my bent nose, crooked yellow teeth and dandruff, I'd need more than my pretty face to get about town, Daffers.
Tooth. Not teeth. And don't forget your hump back and wooden leg.
That's not Beth Gibbons of Portishead. I'm intrigued now. Who is the mysterious woman?
Do you think true beauty is but a step from - I hesitate to say ugliness - but much less than beauty.
A trifle longer nose - a touch sharper chin and she would be seeking a broom stick. That's what makes it so intriguing for me. Or am I talking rubbish?
No, PI, you're not talking rubbish at all.
I do indeed subscribe to the "beauty on the edge of ugly" principle, or whatever it's called.
There's nothing worse, for me, than those generic, symmetric clones that grace the covers of Cosmopolitain et al.
I couldn't draw one of them if I tried, I'd slip in a flaw despite my best efforts.
Apparently, ancient Chinese pottery masters would strive to create the most perfect forms imaginable - and then introduce an imperceptible flaw just before they slipped their masterpiece in the kiln.
It's something like that.
Thanks for that:)
I am in agreement !! this is the "p'tit" defect unperceivable that does the charm !?
Let us take at random, and let us touch up...!!? What says the symmetry ???
J'ai essayé avec "Brad Pitt" mais ...
